Professional Background
I have been a mechanical engineer since 1982, with the past 33 years specializing in turbo-machinery design and engineering leadership. My experience in project management will be brought to bear as selectman.
I am the founder and president of a company that has been supplying flight-certified aircraft compressor components to Japan since 2005. Additionally, for the last few years I have been working on innovative energy storage and novel gas turbine applications.
In prior years I worked at GE Aircraft Engine in Lynn (13 years) and held lead design ownership roles for jet engine compressors and turbines, new engine flight test engineer, and compressor section leader.
At Axiam Inc. (2 years, Director of Engineering) where I designed, installed, and trained customers on custom gas turbine assembly software and tooling.
At Ingersoll-Rand NREC (14 years, Manager of Mechanical Engineering) I led a variety of design and development projects and managed the mechanical engineering, controls, and drafting departments.
